Akshay Kumar's Mom Once Recalled Receiving His First Signing Amount, Says, 'Bohot Der Roya...'

However, while the actor went through another low in his career, netizens came across an interview with NDTV of him and his mother, Aruna Bhatia. In the conversation, Aruna was seen sharing about the time Akshay received his first signing amount. She stated: 

"Aaya toh signing amount aake isney mere haath mei diya. Toh kehta hai, 'Mumma ye aap rakho.' Toh maine woh signing amonth Mata Rani k charno mei rakh de diya tha aur yaha tak ke hum itna khush huey ki poocho nahi."

In the same conversation, Aruna Bhatia shared that Akshay Kumar cried seeing his picture on screen for the first time. She recalled that Akshay woke her up at 5 in the morning and started crying. She added that when she asked him what happened, he showed her the photograph and hugged her. She revealed that Akshay cried for a long time in her arms as he was extremely happy. She stated:

"Jab iski pehli baar photo aai screen mei, toh mereko toh maloom nahi tha, lekin morning mei, kareeb 5-5:30 bjey mai so rahi thi aur ye mere paas aaya. Ye aake mujhe kehta hai, 'Mumma utho'. Maine dekha toh ye ro raha tha. Maine kaha roney waali konsi baat hai, toh aur zor se roney laga. Toh mai bada ghabra gayi. Kyuki subha 5 bjey roney ka time bachon ka toh hisaab se toh nahi ho sakta hai. Maine kaha kya hua? Toh kehta hai ki, 'Maa aee dekh meri photo aayi hai.' Toh photo dikha k galey lag ke bohot der roya."

Akshay Kumar shared an extremely close bond with his mother, Aruna Bhatia. The actor was left heartbroken when his mother left the world. Aruna passed away on September 8, 2021. Akshay had acknowledged the deep pain he feels about his mom's passing and shared:

"She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence."
