Akshay Kumar Wittily Reveals If His Wife, Twinkle Khanna Ever Checks His Phone, 'Password Kisi Ko..'

Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest stars in the Indian film industry. He has made a name for himself with his versatile performances and has amazed audiences with his comedy, action, and patriotic films over the years. Meanwhile, the actor is married to Rajesh Khanna's daughter, Twinkle Khanna, who is herself a popular author and columnist.

At the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Khel Khel Mein, which co-stars Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Fardeen Khan, Akshay was questioned if his wife, Twinkle, ever checked his phone. The actor's answer to the question left everyone in splits. He wittily said:

"Mere parivar mein cell phone ka password kisi ko nahi pata. Toh wo khulega hi nahi."

This question was asked as Akshay's upcoming film, Khel Khel Mein's trailer revealed that the story would revolve around a game that the on-screen couples would play with their phones. After his quirky reaction to the previous question, the actor was then questioned about whose phone he would like to check if he had the opportunity. Akshay said that he would want to look into director, Mudassar Aziz's phone because he seems like a romantic person.

When Akshay Kumar called Twinkle Khanna 'dimaag wali'

For the uninitiated, Akshay Kumar married Twinkle Khanna in 2001 and welcomed their son, Aarav, in 2002 and then their daughter, Nitara, in 2012. Previously, when the actor had graced his good friend and cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s chat show, Dhawan Karenge, on Jio Cinema, he said that their kids had taken after their mother. He said:

"Main to anpadh aadmi hu, zyada padha nahi hu. Main gadha mazdoori karta hu, wo dimaag wali hai."

In the same conversation, Akshay heaped praises on Twinkle's resolute and shared that at the age of 50, she's still continuing with her studies. He also complimented her for bringing up their children in the right manner. Sharing that he felt lucky to have married Twinkle, Akshay added:

"I am lucky to marry superstar Rajesh Khanna’s daughter but I am lucky that she is a lovely wife and a lovely mother. If you get the right partner in life, then your life is perfect. I go to work and she has taken such good care of my children. I am surprised about how my wife looks at life even today. She is 50 now and still goes to study."
