Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look back at Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna son, Aarav Kumar and everyone's expectation of seeing him take the legacy forward. We remember in an interview, Akshay had clearly stated that his son is too young to take this kind of pressure and he wants him to just enjoy life as of now.
Recently, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Akshay revealed that the gen-next has much greater access to technology and science. On being asked whether he discusses science things with his son, Aarav, the actor stated, "We don’t discuss, he tells me things. It’s a different learning experience. My son is like my science teacher." (Also Read: Arjun Kapoor Acts Possessive When Host Karan Tacker Flirts With His GF Malaika Arora At IFFM [Video])
Sharing a childhood incident, Akshay stated that once he had damaged a radio gifted by his father while thinking of it as a scientific breakthrough, "He paid Rs 175 for a shiny red transistor. I was five years old and having a radio was a big thing at the time. I would listen to songs on it. A few days later, I showed him a black circular object that I had discovered. It would stick when I threw it at the cupboard. He said, ‘That’s a magnet. Where did you get it?’ I told him that I had taken it out of the radio."
Coming back to speculations on Akshay's son joining the film fraternity, in an interview, the daddy cool had cleared the air. He had stated, "I hope he does become an actor because this industry is great. It’s a very welcoming industry and it’s given food and shelter to me and my family for years now. But I will just tell him one thing that he will have to make his own mark. I am there to guide him, help him but he has to do everything here on his own. But that’s thinking too far. He is a teenager. Let him finish his studies."

In another interview, Akshay had stated that he doesn't want to pressurise his son, "He is just a 16-year-old kid, who is enjoying his life. There’s no need to discuss his career right now and put pressure on him. I feel that [kids feeling pressure] will happen only if the parents – in a way – put some kind of burden. I am very clear that whether my kids want to become a painter, doctor or open a restaurant, I am fine. My dad never put any pressure on me. He was like, ‘if you’re interested in sports and karate; and want to be like Bruce Lee, go for it. But become at least half a Bruce Lee (laughs).’ Aaj wahi cheez kaam aayi na mere."
He had further added, "See, every parent hopes and tries to ensure that his/her kids’ life becomes easy. They pray for their kids but everything depends on how their kids want to shape and take ahead their lives. No parent can shadow their kids 24/7. They can guide them from far and shield from certain things. So, be it Aarav or Nitara, jo unko karna hoga, woh apne aap karenge. I strongly feel ki be it a king’s son or beggar’s, har insaan apni kismet saath leke aata hai."
