Akshay Kumar, fondly hailed as Khiladi Kumar has been ruling the hearts of millions of his fans for a long time now. Be it his swift action-packed moves, romantic gestures, handsome looks or dance steps, Akshay paaji has got it all covered. While he has such an energetic disposition in his professional life, the actor leads an equally humble and down-to-earth personal life. For the unversed, Akshay is married to his ladylove, Twinkle Khanna and the duo is blessed with a son, Aarav, and a daughter, Nitara.
In a recent interaction with the ANI podcast, Akshay Kumar was asked about his family’s reaction to his films, especially those of his mother, late Aruna Bhatia and his kids, Aarav and Nitara. Speaking about his mother, Akshay mentioned that she had seen quite a bunch of his films, even more than what his father had seen. However, on the aspect of his kids, Akshay mentioned that while his daughter, Nitara is quite small, it is his son, Aarav, who is brutally honest with his performances. Revealing his son, Aarav’s epic, yet straightforward response to his works, Akshay mentioned:
“Beti toh bohot choti hai. Beta hai, woh jab film dekhta hai…good dad I’m proud of you,' bus itna isse zyaada nahi. Teenagers have very few words to talk. Beta kaise lagi?…'Sorry but it’s bullsh*t Dad. If they don’t like it, that’s where it goes.”

I want to put him into all that but he just doesn't want to see anything, he just wants to do his work. He wants to study or do his fashion designing. My son… he is not interested in films. He just wants to do his fashion designing and he is into that. Daughter is very small...”
