Alaya shared her views on the rising cost of living in the film industry

The failure of Alaya F’s last film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan stirred a debate on whether actors should charge a massive fee of around 100 crore INR when their movie flops. The hefty amount is paid to the actors for their acting and ability to attract the audiences with their stardom. But, neitizens feel the amount is unreasonable when the movie fails to generate a return on investment. Sharing her opinion, Alaya F discussed the extra expenses an actor spends to sustain a career in the film industry, she said:

“Everything is getting so expensive. I am not talking about luxury expenses, I am talking about career expenses. At the start of everyday, there is a hair person, there is a makeup person, there’s a photographer and a stylist – this is already four people who are getting paid for just putting me into this look. Not talking PR, which costs money.
