Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the much-loved couples in Bollywood. The duo tied the knot in 2022 after several years of dating. If the reports are to be believed, the duo started living together in 2018. Well, Ranbir Kapoor's dating history has always raised eyebrows. Even after his marriage to Alia Bhatt, a lot of cross-questions were raised for some of the candid revelations. And it was stretched too far that Ranbir was tagged as a 'toxic' husband. It was during the promotional event of her movie, Poacher in London when Alia Bhatt talked about the constant criticism that came along her way. Talking about the same, the actress stated that she has been tagged as a 'loud person' so surely no mic would be required there, thereby trying to take a dig at the trollers. As soon as the statement surfaced netizens thought it was a dig at Ranbir, who once labelled Alia Bhatt as 'loud'.

Well, such an incident left everyone tagging Ranbir as a 'red flag' or 'toxic' for not accepting the way Alia is, while she accepted all of his flaws. But is it really the case? In a recent interview with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir mentioned that he had witnessed his parents fighting continuously and how he would spend his childhood sitting on the staircase, so it possibly had left a mark or trauma in the actor's heart.
Ranbir, on the other hand, said that Alia Bhatt had changed from being a loud person. He said how his father's loud voice used to rattle him. Alia understood that and she had changed herself to keep him at ease. Mainly, Ranbir also confessed to not being able to do enough, which possibly is not a trait of a 'toxic' husband. It also means that Ranbir is trying to change himself, and Alia has not lost herself entirely in the process; she is just protecting her husband from getting triggered.
