So #Ralia fans, here you go. Now, you have heard from the horse’s mouth. A source recently told a media tabloid that Alia and Ranbir are waiting for Rishi Kapoor’s recovery who is undergoing treatment in the US. It was reported, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The couple will wait until Rishi Kapoor’s recovery before discussing a date for marriage.”
In fact, another source shared with a leading daily that Alia and Ranbir will take the plunge in 2020, and was quoted as saying, “Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won't happen before 2020.”
Speaking of Rishi Kapoor, after many speculations, he recently tweeted and informed his fans about his treatment in the US, “I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It's been 45 years 'plus' of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” (Don't Miss: Kapil Sharma Can't Stop Thanking Fiancee Ginni Chatrath For Her Unconditional Love On Her Birthday)

Speaking of marriage and the fact that Alia is going to be a Kapoor khandaan bahu, it must be noted here that the daughters-in-law of this reputed family have not worked in films post-marriage. A report earlier stated, “Though other Kapoor bahus like Karisma-Kareena’s mom Babita and Rishi’s wife Neetu Singh gave up their careers after marriage, theirs was a voluntary decision. Alia will continue with her thriving career.”
Along the similar lines, Alia once stated in an interview her stand on marriage and career, “I would never fear getting married thinking my career might end. I will settle down if I want to. One should be able to have a career, regardless of being married or not.” The actress was all praises for her beau in an interview. Shedding light on the same, she had stated, “It’s been great working with him. It’s exactly how I imagined it to be. I’ve always thought that Ranbir is such an amazing actor. I’m at times shocked at how chilled out he is (laughs).”
In an interview with BollywoodLife, talking about love, Ranbir stated, “I think every human being does extraordinary things only when they are in love. So I believe that love is something which is a privilege if it comes in your life and to be in a happy, beautiful positive place in a relationship with, it could be with a girl, a guy, with a friend, your mother, your father, or anybody but when there is some genuine love, it’s really beautiful.” (Suggested Read: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Crowned With Another Title By Aaradhya Bachchan After Becoming Miss World)
