The report further stated that in Deepika's absence, Alia Bhatt has shown interest in replacing the former in the project. However, it looks like Alia's gesture didn't go down well with the netizens and they were disappointed with her. Taking to the post's comment section, many netizens bashed Alia and called her out for replacing Deepika during the latter's maternity leave.

During the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Alia what tag would suit her the best, "How to be best friends with your exes" or "How to be friends with your boyfriend's exes". To this, she mentioned:

“I think I know how to stay friends with my partner’s ex. I am very good friends with his exes. I love them both.”
