Alia Bhatt recently became an author as she launched her first picture book, Ed Finds A Home, under the brand, Ed-a-Mamma. The actress surprised the entire nation with her new achievement and showcased her love for interesting stories. Alia hosted a launch event at Jio Plaza and read her book to the children who were present there. However, she failed to impress the netizens with her new achievement and got slammed.
Recently, a Reddit user posted a video of Alia Bhatt reading her book for the first time at the launch event. The actress looked pretty in a yellow-hued maxi dress with noodle straps, leaving her tresses in wavy curls. She was accompanied by her mother, Soni Razdan, and sister, Shaheen Bhatt, who held the book while the former read it. Alia gave the perfect expressions and added drama to the reading session with her beautiful narration. She was completely engrossed in the reading session and even made hand gestures to enact the scenes.

Alia Bhatt's reading session video didn't go down well with the netizens, and they slammed the actress for it. While some mentioned that she is trying to be the next Sudha Murthy by introducing children's storybooks, others accused her of not writing the book herself. A user penned, "She is trying too hard to become Sudha Murthy." Another wrote, "I don't think anyone would believe that she wrote the story herself anyway, lol."

The actress revealed that she has turned an author and has started a new series of books from the universe of her brand, Ed-a-mamma. Alia went on to add that she has been surrounded by great storytellers since childhood and wants to tell those stories to kids these days.

On June 17, 2024, taking to her IG handle, Alia Bhatt posted a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter, Raha's adorable moment from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's cruise pre-wedding. In the photo, Raha was seen holding her daddy's hand, as she walked along with him on the streets of Italy. Ranbir looked dapper in a green-hued sweatshirt and white shorts teamed with a pair of sneakers. Raha, on the other hand, swooned our hearts in a yellow frock and a pair of white crocs.
