Alia Bhatt is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. She has carved her name in the hearts of millions with her exceptional acting skills and pleasant personality. Moreover, the diva has been soaring high on the professional front. From making a stunning debut at Met Gala 2023 to being the ambassador of Gucci, Alia is having a beautiful year. Apart from this, she has been creating new histories with her power-packed performances in films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Brahmastra, Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, darlings, Raazi and many more.
In a candid conversation with Elle US Magazine, Alia Bhatt opened up about her childhood films and TV viewing habits. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she didn't watch her parents, Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt's films, while growing up. Elaborating more about it, she said that she was sensitive as a kid, so she couldn't watch her mother's suffering on-screen. Adding that she used to take the films too seriously, Alia said:
"Honestly, I was very sensitive as a child, and I took the films too seriously. I didn’t want to see my mother being pushed out of a window or see her suffering. That wasn’t something I wanted to engage with."

Further, in the same conversation, Alia mentioned that her father, Mahesh Bhatt's films, were too intense for her age, so she didn't immerse herself in his work. However, the actress revealed that she used to watch her step-sister, Pooja Bhatt's film a lot. Mentioning that she watched Pooja's film on repeat, Alia said:
"The cutesy romantic stuff I could handle."
In the same conversation, Alia Bhatt reminisced about her childhood and revealed that she used to like the content of television. She also revealed that it was TV that inspired her to become an actor. Adding how she used to think about being inside the television, Alia said:
"I liked what I saw coming from the television box—the people dancing around and making faces at each other. I thought it might be nice to be inside that box one day."

In an interview with Vogue India, Alia had opened about the nepo kid tag. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she had to work hard constantly to prove her place in the industry despite coming from a filmy background. Alia further added that the industry provides a room in which people could work. However, it is ultimately the decision of the audience when it comes to deciding one's future in the industry.
Talking about Alia and Pooja's relationship, the sister duo share a warm bond. They never leave a chance to shower love on each other. For instance, earlier, during the promotions of her then-to-be-release film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia heaped praises on her step-sister, Pooja and mentioned that the latter is the queen of the Bhatt family. In her words:
"But I have to take my sister’s name as she is our Bhatt family’s Rani. It’s just the way she is, she is the queen."
