Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together make for the most powerful and talented couple of the tinsel town. They both are supremely talented with films like Raazi, Gully Boy, Sanju, Rockstar, among others in their kitty. Ever since Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra has gone on the floors, Alia and Ranbir have become inseparable to the point that their wedding reports hit the headlines on a daily basis. Ranbir Kapoor had shared last year (2018) with film critic, Rajeev Masand, about his equation and relationship with Alia Bhatt. Ranbir had then said, “It’s only positive and more so because we are working in a film together and I really admire her as an actor. To see her have so much of colour, so much of spontaneity, so much of hard work, so much of discipline (extremely disciplined) is quite rare. It’s amazing. It’s been 10 years for me in this industry, little lethargy, a little chalta hai type attitude comes in. So, it’s rejuvenating for me as an actor to be with Alia.”

Alia Bhatt has now shared how it is with Ranbir Kapoor and what has made her fall in love with him. The Gully Boy actress has shared with a media portal, “It’s not a relationship. It’s friendship. I’m saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It’s beautiful. I’m walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we’re two individuals, who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have both been vocal about their stands when it comes to love and marriage, but neither has yet accepted or denied their relationship status fully. On being asked if the wedding is on the cards, the Kalank actress had recently shared with the Hindustan Times, “Not at all! I feel it’s all unnecessary chatter. You have to understand that personal life is called ‘personal’ for a reason. In fact, that’s why not many speak up about their relationships. The minute you say anything, there are random pieces of news including my supposed marriage.”
In an interview earlier, the 26-year-old actress had said, “But marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed my mind. I am not averse to it. But it’s not a part of my plan right now. I have a lot of work to do. It’s not as if I won’t work post marriage, whenever it happens. But right now, my focus is just on work. My priorities will probably shift in time. As of now, it hasn’t.” (Don't Miss: Malaika Arora Enjoys Bachelorette Trip Before April Wedding? Shares Happy Selfie (Pictures Inside))

Elaborating on the same, Alia Bhatt had revealed in another interview, “It has even reached my fans. So, sometimes, when I interact with them on social media, they also ask me when I am getting married. And I am like, ‘why are you asking me this? Have I said anything? Have I given a feeler?’ No,” says Alia, adding that since it has been a “season of marriages”, everyone expects that I might also do the same. But marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed my mind. I am not averse to it. But it’s not a part of my plan right now. I have a lot of work to do. It’s not as if I won’t work post marriage, whenever it happens. But right now, my focus is just on work. My priorities will probably shift in time. As of now, it hasn’t.”
In fact, Alia Bhatt’s mother, Soni Razdan too also opened up about her daughter’s wedding reports, and recently commented, “I guess it's natural. It's a natural curiosity that people will get. But umm, her personal life is hers and I'm very clear about that.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently won the Best Actress and Best Actor award at Filmfare awards. Both their mothers, Soni Razdan and Neetu Kapoor congratulated their children on social media. While Neetu ji wrote, “AND moments like these make you forget all the stress congratulations so proud n happy #filmfareawards #bestactor#bestactress”, Soni ji posted, “Congratulations you two ... happiness and proudness #filmfareawards #congratulations #andcelebrations.”
A source had shared last year with a leading media house, “She (Alia) has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The couple will wait until Rishi Kapoor’s recovery before discussing a date for marriage.” (Must Read: Chahatt Khanna Gets Trolled For Flaunting Ex-Husband, Farhan's Name Tattoo, Gives Back A Sassy Reply)
