Alia Bhatt is one of the most phenomenal actresses of her generation in Bollywood. She made her debut at the age of 19, with the film, Student Of The Year and hasn’t ever looked back on her professional career since. She can be credited to have delivered some of the most power-packed performances, which include blockbuster hits like Raazi, Dear Zindagi, Kalank, Gully Boy, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings among others.
While scrolling through our IG handle, we came across some stunning glimpses of Alia Bhatt, along with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, as the duo reached New Delhi. For the unversed, the duo arrived at the Vigyan Bhawan in the National Capital, where Alia will be honoured with the National Film Award for the Best Actress for her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia will be sharing her award with Kriti Sanon, who bagged the same award for her film, Mimi.

While it is a momentous occasion for Alia, what caught everyone’s eyeballs was that she draped her wedding saree from Sabyasachi Mukherjee as her OOTD. The ivory-coloured elegant organza saree featured bespoke tilla work all over it. Ditching the veil from her original wedding look, Alia instead amped her look with an elegant pearl choker and matching earrings, and flaunted her engagement ring. A neatly tucked hair bun and soft subtle makeup completed her look. On the other hand, Alia’s biggest cheerleader, Ranbir chose to look dapper in an all-black avatar, along with a pair of classy black shades.

Well, it was back on April 14, 2022, when Alia Bhatt tied the knot with the man of her dream, Ranbir Kapoor. For her special day, Alia Bhatt looked breathtaking in a beautiful ivory-hued saree from the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The saree had tilla work embroidery all over it, and the handwoven tissue veil accentuated the entire look. Alia opted for a matching blouse and completed her bridal look with Sabyasachi jewellery, featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor looked dapper in a silk sherwani featuring intricate embroidery and uncut diamond buttons.

Back during the promotions of her Hollywood debut, Heart Of Stone, Alia had sat for a candid QnA along with the co-stars, Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot. During the interaction, Gal Gadot had asked Alia who designed her wedding dress, and Alia had responded:
"My wedding dress was designed by Sabyasachi, the most celebrated Indian designer. And he did it in just two weeks."
