Alia Bhatt, apart from being a tremendous actress, is a doting bahu of the Kapoor clan. The actress got married to Ranbir Kapoor in 2022, and they are parents to their adorable daughter, Raha. While Alia has proved her mettle as a loving wifey, and doting mumma, she is also a fabulous bahu to Neetu Kapoor. Reports claimed that there might be something off between Alia and Neetu, but they never paid any attention to the same. Neetu, on the other hand, never skips a chance to hype her bahu. In a recent interview, Alia shared that she looks up to her mom-in-law and how is their bond off the camera.
Alia Bhatt recently graced Kareena Kapoor Khan's chat show, What Women Want 5, wherein she was asked to whom she looks up to as a Kapoor. To this, Alia revealed that it was her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor. Alia added that she and Neetu found a natural and organic bond with one another, which later developed in the last six months. The actress stated that her mom-in-law expressed her desire to join the former while she was walking the ramp for L'Oreal at the Paris Fashion Week. Alia said that Neetu was cheering loudest, and the actress felt like she was back to her school days, watching her mom cheer for her. In Alia's words:

"We found a really natural, organic friendship over the last couple of years. It has become really deeper in the last six months. When I was walking for L'oreal and she said she wanted to come for the show. When I was walking she was cheering the loudest. It was like I was back in school and I was seeing my mother over there.”
Going further in the conversation, Alia Bhatt shared what Neetu Kapoor told her on her wedding day. The actress revealed that Neetu set an example of her own friendly bond with her mom-in-law, Krishna Raj Kapoor. Alia added that Neetu told her that she had the most amazing bond with Krishna Raj Kapoor, and that was what the veteran actress wanted with the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress. Revealing how Neetu talks fondly of Krishna Raj Kapoor, Alia mentioned:
"I remember when we were getting married she said, 'You are my daughter-in-law and I am your mother-in-law but I had the most beautiful friendship with my mother-in-law. She speaks so fondly of Krishna aunty and the moments that she shared with her. She said that I want the same thing with my daughter-in-law. She is really so cool and so full of positivity and hope.”

Well, it was at the Koffee With Karan 8, that Neetu was asked one advice she would want to give to Ranbir and Alia. To this, the actress shared that she doesn't want to give any advice to Alia and Ranbir, as today's generation is different, and she cannot expect the couple to act in the same way as her and her husband.
