Considering the fact that they both are working together in Ayan Mukerji’s next, when Alia was asked what she likes the most about her boyfriend, Ranbir, she revealed in an interview with DNA, "It’s been great working with him. The 25-year-old actress further added, “He’s the easiest actor as well as a human being I’ve worked with. I’m at times shocked at how chilled out he is (laughs). That doesn’t mean he’s detached. He’s just too positive and understands that there’s a flip side to everything. His attitude is like ki sab manage ho jayega. I’ve learnt a lot from that."
About their link-up rumours floating in the media, Alia clarified, "The truth never bothers me. At the same time, even lies don’t affect me because if it’s not true, I don’t care. Link-up rumours don’t affect my relationships with people. We have gotten used to it because it is a part and parcel of being in the business and limelight. Everyone has things to say and you can’t get affected by them." (Also Read: After Alia Bhatt, Her Boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor Reveals When He Wants To Get Married)
When asked if the marital status affects the career of a female star in this industry, Alia defended, "Anushka (Sharma) and Sonam (K Ahuja) are proving that married actresses can remain stars and they are doing it fearlessly, which is beautiful. I would like to be one of those people as well. I don’t think a good actor should be out of work because of their relationship status." She went to say, "I would never fear getting married thinking my career might end. I will settle down if I want to. One should be able to have a career, regardless of being married or not."

On the promotional spree of Sanju, Ranbir was asked about his relationship with Alia, and he stated, “If I keep talking about it in every interview, then that becomes the headline. I just want to give it dignity.” Sharing that he is fond of isolation, Ranbir retorted, “I’m still conscious when I’m in public. I know it’s the antithesis of what I do, but it’s something I am working on. It’s important but not that much because so far I have done okay.”
We have seen Ranbir Kapoor’s mom, Neetu Kapoor’s expressing her admiration and liking for Alia Bhatt time and again. Now his dad, Rishi Kapoor is also all praises for the Kalank actress. In an interview with Hindustan Times, when Rishi Kapoor was asked about the young lot of actors in the industry, he was quoted as saying, "I admire someone like Alia Bhatt, who takes up challenging roles like in Highway (2014) and Raazi. It’s very difficult at this tender age to carry a film on their shoulders and only an actor can do that. Also, one has to be lucky enough to get such parts. Alia has been lucky and of course, she has the talent too.” (Also Read: After Ranbir Confirms Dating Alia, Neetu Kapoor Leaves A Comment On Her Post, Is Mom 'Raazi'?)
Recently the speculations were rife that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor might tie the knot soon. Speaking about the same, Ranbir stated in an interview, “I am very scared of one thing these days and it's called 'sutron', which means sources. This 'according to the sources' has become a villain in my life. So, I want to stay away from it as much as possible. I don't want to come anywhere close to it.”
