Alia Bhatt is one the leading actresses in Bollywood, and she has back-to-back hits in her kitty. As the actress is reaching new milestones in her professional life, her personal life is filled with happiness due to her daughter, Raha. She recently sat down for an interview with Outlook India and shed light on her experience of motherhood.
At 31, Alia Bhatt is a successful actress, film producer, and entrepreneur. But her 19-months-old daughter has always been her priority. The Darlings actress gave birth to her daughter on November 6, 2022, and calls it a magical process to be a mother. Alia shares that she discovers something new every day and is becoming a new person. The actress added that it's an ever-evolving process to be a mother. Alia was quoted as saying:
"I think the process is just magical. I don't know how to explain it. It's not like I can say this is the version I have become now. Every day is a discovery and a new layer to your life, becoming a new person and learning so much daily as a human, mother, and person in general. I can't say that one person is here to stick forever with the magical qualities ongoing and ever-evolving."

Alia acknowledged that managing everything as a new mom is not easy. As a working mom, a woman can't be perfect at everything she does at home or work. So, it's important to become okay with being uncomfortable. She added that there is always a feeling of lacking as a new mother that will stay. In her words:
"You are never going to feel that you are on top of everything. First, the idea is to get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. You will never feel like you have it all together. You always feel like something is lacking."
Alia turned into a producer and entrepreneur before she became a mother. At the same time, the actress won a National Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia stated that even being a homemaker is a physically demanding role. So, new mothers can often list priorities and use their time judiciously to manage things.

Being at the peak of her career, shooting films, and managing work while being a mother isn't easy. However, Alia Bhatt spends more time making timetables to manage her life. At the same time, she makes sure not to add anything beyond her limit and isn't guilty of it. The 31-year-old actress believes that time should be the priority. Also, she believes one should have a partner or team they can trust. Sharing her experience, Alia said:
"If you feel something is coming your way and is taking so much out of you, it's okay to cut it out sometime because there is also a natural capacity of yours. You also want to be the best version of yourself and your child on a day-to-day basis. This is how I think of it, and whenever I feel it's becoming too much, I tell everybody that I need some time".
