Allu Arjun Reacts To His Arrest For The First Time After Release, 'Challenging Situation For Family'

Allu Arjun Reacts To His Arrest For The First Time After Release, 'Challenging Situation For Family'

Pan Indian superstar, Allu Arjun has been winning hearts with his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Moreover, on December 13, 2024, the actor was arrested and was taken under 14-day judicial custody. While he was granted interim bail on a personal bond of Rs. 50,000, he couldn't be released right away and had to spend the night in jail as per the rules. On December 14, 2024, Allu Arjun was released, and he, for the first time, broke his silence over the same. Stating that it was a difficult situation for the family, Allu Arjun revealed that he has his belief in law.

Allu Arjun first time talks about his arrest

Talking about his arrest after his release, Allu Arjun thanked his fans and supporters while mentioning that he was doing fine. The actor shared that he is a law-abiding citizen and would cooperate in the case proceedings while doing the needful. For the unversed, it was during one of the screenings of Pushpa 2 at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, when Allu Arjun paid a surprise visit, which left his fans excited.

His fans got overwhelmed to see the actor, and it led to a stampede. Moreover, it came with an unexpected turn of events as a woman died at the stampede, and her son was critically injured. It was Allu Arjun who was detained under the charges of Section 118(1) and Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Talking about the same, the actor stated that it was very unfortunate that the incident took place, and it was simply unintentional and out of his personal control. In Allu Arjun's words:

"I am doing fine and alright; nothing to worry. I am a law-abiding citizen; I will respect the law and cooperate with the police in the case proceedings and do the needful. It’s very unfortunate that we went to watch a film and there was an unfortunate incident. It was totally unintentional and as a result there was a loss of a life. We are always sorry for whatever happened, and it was out of my personal control."

Allu Arjun shares it to be a 'challenging time' for the family after he was released from the jail

In a media statement, Allu Arjun shared that when the law is taking its course of action, he has no comments to make, and he wouldn't interfere. Stating that it's a challenging time for the family, Allu Arjun said:

"I have been going to watch my uncle’s (Chiranjeevi) films too for over 30 years but nothing of this sort has ever happened. It’s unfortunate and I will be there for the family to support them in whatever way I can. When the law is taking its own course of action I should not interfere in the case and I don’t want to talk anything about it from legal stand point. I believe in the law. It’s definitely a very challenging situation for the family."

Several Tollywood actors met All Arjun after he was released

After Allu Arjun was released from jail after submitting a personal bond of Rs. 50,000, several Tollywood actors reached his residence to meet him. Among others, Vijay Deverakonda, Naga Chaitanya, and Rana Daggubati were the actors, who were spotted paying a visit to the Pan-Indian superstar.

In a video after Allu Arjun's bail, his wife, Sneha Reddy was seen being emotional. Soon after his husband's return, she hugged him, while their kids were too looked relieved. It was on December 13, 2024, when Allu Arjun was reportedly dragged from his room at his Jubilee Hills residence. In the videos that made rounds on social media, the actor was seen talking to a police inspector. He was heard saying that arresting him was not an issue but barging into his bedroom and not allowing him to change my clothes was a bit 'too much'.
