The 69th National Film Awards is grabbing all the headlines currently. From Alia Bhatt to Kriti Sanon bagging the crown for the Best Actress in a tie, to films like Shershaah, Udham Singh among others winning big, we have noted some of the most talented actors getting recognised for their work. And now, speaking about the Best Actor, it is none other than Tollywood superstar, Allu Arjun, who bagged the honour for the same for his tremendously successful film, Pushpa-The Rise Part 1. However, that’s not it, as Allu Arjun’s win has marked a historical move, especially for the Telugu film industry.
On August 24, 2023, the prestigious winners of the 69th National Film Awards were announced. Among all the deserving actors, it is Allu Arjun who took home the Best Actor award, for his film, Pushpa-The Rise Part 1. And interestingly, what makes his win all the more special and historic for him, is that he became the first Telugu actor ever to win such a prestigious recognition.

As soon as the winners for the 69th National Film Awards were announced, Allu Arjun turned unbelievably happy and totally emotional about his mega win. A fan of the actor shared a clip from the moment when Allu learnt about his historic win on the social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter). In the video, he could be seen getting emotional and sharing a warm hug with the filmmaker, Sukumar. The surrounding crowd could be seen cheering up for the actor on his victory.

Well, while the news of Allu Arjun’s massive win has reached far and wide, he has also received a lot of appreciation from his friends, co-stars and colleagues from the film industry. Apart from being a supremely talented actor, Allu Arjun happens to be a dedicated and humble family man in his personal life. For the unversed, Allu is married to his longtime ladylove, Sneha, and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Arha and a son, Ayaan. Speaking along the same lines, Allu, during his presence in Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s chat show, Sam Jam, had revealed the one change he noticed in himself after becoming a father. The dashing actor mentioned that he had started to use cuss words a lot less than before.
