Allu Arjun is one of the biggest superstars in the South Indian cinema. The critically acclaimed actor made his acting debut back in Gangotri in 2003, and after a career spanning more than 20 years, he is one of the highest-paid actors in India. From being referred to by the titles, 'Icon Star' and 'Stylish Star' by his massive fanbase, Allu Arjun is an actor class apart. While he was already a massive name in South Indian cinema, it was his film, Pushpa: The Rise, that made him a 'True Superstar' across India.
The stupendous success of Pushpa: The Rise not only gave Allu Arjun a lot of love from Hindi-speaking audiences but also opened the gates for other South Indian actors to create a place for them in the Hindi-speaking community. One such star, who has been on the same track in the last few years is Yash. The Kannada superstar became a sensation back in 2018, when his film, K.G.F: Chapter 1 was released in theaters. It is still the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time with a worldwide collection of Rs. 1,250 crores.

Whether we talk about their acting or style statement, Allu Arjun and Yash are among some of the most good-looking South Indian actors. While Allu Arjun has 25.3 million followers on Instagram, Yash has 13.4 million followers. Although both the actors are a bit different in terms of their acting range and versatility, one thing that is common between them is their 'humility'. Despite being one of the most followed celebrities in India, Yash and Allu Arjun never let success sit on top of their heads.
Allu Arjun and Yash are doing exceptional work on their respective professional fronts. However, their fans indulged in a heated war on X (formerly Twitter) when, back in November 2023, Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, made a controversial remark about Yash. According to a report by Hindustan Times Telugu, Allu Aravind, who is a renowned producer in the South, talked about the actor's remuneration and shared his views.

However, while talking about the budget allocation in PAN India movies, he shared the example of Yash and his film, K.G.F: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. The renowned producer asked, 'Who was Yash before KGF?', and credited the stature and grandeur of the film for his success. Allu Aravind also stated that whoever is the hero of the movie, it is the making of a film that attracts the audience. Elaborating more on the same, the producer said:
"Who was Yash before the release of the KGF movie? Why did that movie make noise? He lifted the movie up because of the making and grandeur. It was that richness that led to the success of the movie. This is just one example. Whoever the hero of the movie is, it is because of the making that it attracts the audience."

As soon as the interview made its way in public, Yash's massive fanbase wasted no time in giving it back to the producer for his remark, 'Who was Yash before KGF?'. The words Allu Aravind chose to explain his take on Yash and KGF not only irked the fans of the Kannada superstar but also made them raise their fingers at Allu Arjun. One user replied to Allu Aravind's statement, taking Yash's side, and commented:
"Why hate on yash? Everyone is a small hero before their big movie. Even Allu Arjun was a small hero in tier2 range who used to compete with vijay devarakonda until his big movie Alavaikuntapuram lo."

Amidst Allu Aravind's controversial statement on Yash, the former's son, Allu Arjun never reacted to the same. The Pushpa actor kept his mum, even when his fans were fighting against Yash's fans on social media. During this controversy, reports were rife that even Allu Arjun agreed to his father, Allu Aravind's remark on Yash. While people were questioning Allu Arjun's stance on the entire controversy, Pushpa actor's old tweet in which he praised Yash after the release of K.G.F: Chapter 2 went viral on Twitter.
On April 22, 2022, Allu Arjun took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle and praised Yash for his incredible acting. From praising his 'swagger' to complimenting his intensity, Allu Arjun also heaped compliments on Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. His tweet could be read as:
"Big congratulations to KGF2 . Swagger performance & intensity by @TheNameIsYash garu. Magnetic presence by @duttsanjay ji @TandonRaveena ji @SrinidhiShetty7 & all actors. Outstanding BGscore & excellent visuals by @RaviBasrur @bhuvangowda84 garu . My Respect to all technicians."
As soon as Allu Arjun praised Yash for his work in K.G.F: Chapter 2, the latter immediately replied back to him with a lovely response. The Kannada superstar thanked Allu Arjun for his kind words and ended all the talks of a cold war between them by admitting that he always admired him. Yash also added that Allu Arjun's conviction and hard work have been a source of inspiration for him. Calling him 'Awesome', his tweet could be read as:
"Thank you @alluarjun avare.. I have always admired you for your hardwork and conviction.. Be as Awesome as you always have been!! Cheers."
As of now, Allu Arjun and Yash reportedly share a friendly bond, as a few months back, in the latter months of 2023, reports were rife that the two actors were on talking terms. Despite Allu Aravind's comment on Yash, the two actors have rubbished every rumour about a possible rift between them with their sweet interaction after the release of K.G.F: Chapter 2 on Twitter. Both the actors are doing wonders on their respective professional front as they have a series of promising films lined up.
