Asim Riaz made it to the headlines, owing to his ugly fight on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actor was called out for his aggressive behaviour and charging at the host, Rohit Shetty along with boasting about his name, money, and fame. Not only the netizens, but several celebrities tagged Aism to be aggressive and his deeds to be 'absolutely wrong'. Well, Aly Goni feels otherwise, and he recently backed Asim.
Aly Goni recently sat for an interview on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast, wherein he talked about the massive spat of Asim Riaz on KKK14. Aly said he personally feels that people are judging Asim based on his reaction to certain things that he didn't like on the show.

Aly mentioned that some of the scenes might have been cut before the telecast, and one can only react to that level that Asim did when they are provoked. The actor said that things might have gotten sorted out if the other contestants had chipped in and tried to control the situation, but they provoked Asim. Aly can be quoted as saying:
"People have been saying 50 things about Asim for what he did on KKK14. But that is his nature, he didn’t like a certain thing, and he reacted, who are people to judge? It’s between him and the channel, they ousted him for his action, and it’s done. I specially saw that episode, a lot must have happened but it might have been edited out, if someone is getting mad to that extent he must have been provoked to that level. If the other contestants wanted, things could have gotten normal, but they all provoked him. They forgot that it wasn’t Bigg Boss.”
Going further in the interview, Aly Goni recalled that there was a time when Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Aditya Narayan caught up in an ugly spat during KKK, but they eventually sorted things out, and they are now good friends. The actor mentioned that if Asim had behaved badly with Rohit Shetty then it was definitely wrong, but his co-contestants should have come up and tried to make him calm instead of trying to look like a hero.
Aly Goni mentioned that Asim is aggressive, but everyone attacked him together. As per Aly, the reason why Asim behaved in an aggressive way was that he might have felt that he would look stupid, and thus, he wanted to protect that, which was why he went all aggressive. In Aly's words:

"Asim is a little aggressive, I don’t know if he behaved badly with Rohit sir or not. If he did, that was wrong. But it was the duty of other contestants to calm things down. But if you show him more attitude and try to become the hero then it’s not right. They all attacked Asim together. According to me, Asim must have felt that he would look stupid on TV and to protect that, he got aggressive.”
In the same interview, Aly Goni mentioned that he and Asim Riaz have known each other since their modelling days. The actor said they used to get Rs. 150 for a change in the costume per day, and they would try to do as many changes as possible to earn a decent amount on a daily basis. Aly further shared that there were times when he and Asim fainted due to excessive workload, but they, along with the photographer, were a solid group, and their work brought them a lot of female attention as well. Asim mentioned:
"We used to try and do the maximum changes so that we make a decent amount, three times we even fainted. Especially Asim and I would be sitting with the photographer the whole day telling him to shoot us as much as he could. Eventually, the photographer had to tell us to go home. But we three were a solid group. We were good-looking too, so we would even get a lot of female attention."
