American Rapper, Cardi B Files For Divorce From Husband, Offset Amid The Latter's Cheating Scandal

Cardi B is one of the most talented singers and rappers in the West. The songstress married another rapper, Offset, in 2017, and the couple is blessed with a daughter, Kulture, and a son, Wave. Cardi B and Offset's marriage has been dicey for a few years now, and it seems like the duo have finally decided to call it quits. 

Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband, Offset 

As per reports from Page Six, Cardi B, for the second time, has filed for divorce from her husband, Offset. This decision was taken after Offset's cheating rumours surfaced on the Internet, and videos and pictures went viral, which showed that the former had not been faithful to Cardi during the course of their marriage. Talking about their divorce, Cardi's representative stated:

"They've grown apart. That's what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do."

The representative also added that Cardi B wants full privacy as her children's lives are also in question. She also demands full custody of them. This is not the first time Cardi decided to divorce Offset; a few years back in 2020, the rapper filed for divorce but backed out and reconciled. However, this time, she is reportedly in no mood to 'fold' and accept Offset.

Offset's cheating scandal 

The internet is buzzing with reports of Offset's cheating scandal. Just this week, the Migos rapper was spotted publicly with a woman he apparently had dated in the past. Although Cardi is not separating from Offset due to his cheating scandal, this is one of the main reasons the rapper is fed up with her husband.

Cardi B's representative added that the singer has no ill feelings for her husband but wants to move on in her life. She wants to have peace in her life, so she has to let go of Offset. The representative added:

"She's focused on moving on. She has no ill will towards him. She's wishing him the best. She's not going into this next season of her life with any beef or any drama. She wants everything to be very peaceful."
