Sonakshi Sinha has been at the forefront of headlines for a long time now, as reports about her upcoming nuptials has surfaced on the internet. For the unversed, the actress will be tying the knot with her longtime-beau and actor, Zaheer Iqbal. Previously, several reports suggested that Sonakshi’s father and veteran actor, Shatrughan Sinha hadn’t accepted the couple’s match, and even indicated that he might choose to skip the wedding, considering the urgency in the way the news came out. However, official spokesperson from the family has already rubbished such gossip.
Well, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will reportedly tie the knot on June 23, 2024. Amid all the baseless news that has come up regarding the actress’ upcoming nuptials, recently, her brother, Luv Sinha penned a note on his IG handle, which raised quite a few eyebrows. He dropped a streetside glimpse from one of his Christmas vacations in Baku. However, it was his caption along with it that grabbed attention. He wrote:
“The problem with time is, that we never have enough of it.”

Earlier, as soon as news about Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding broke, Luv Sinha gave his reaction to the same. While speaking to The Times Of India, he mentioned that he wasn’t in Mumbai to talk about the same. Furthermore, Luv claimed that he has no comment or involvement in the matter. In his words:
“I have no comment or involvement in the matter."
Shattering all conjectures of discord, Shatrughan Sinha, opened up about his daughter, Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. While he didn’t clearly confirmed or denied the speculations, the veteran star emphasised that his beti will always have his blessings no matter what. He mentioned:
“Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor. If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best... ek hi toh beti hai meri."

On June 17, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha took to her IG stories and posted some stunning snapshots of herself. The diva looked effervescent, clad in a black shimmery outfit with a deep v-neckline. A loosely tied-up hairdo and glam makeup accentuated her OOTD. While the diva didn’t clarify if the pictures were from her bachelorette bash, the fact that she captioned them with the date, i.e. “17.06.2024” hinted at the significance of the celebration. She was joined by her besties, along with actress, Huma Qureshi.
