Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly India's pride. The cricketer, with his bat and ball, has won over the hearts of his fans with his sportsmanship and captaining capabilities. The 36-year-old right-handed batsman is currently playing in the Indian Premier League under Mumbai Indians. However, things are not going well in the MI camp as Hardik Pandya has overtaken the team's captaincy and replaced Rohit Sharma, the former captain. As per the buzz from the dressing room, the team's environment is getting uglier by the day, for which Hitman Sharma has decided to leave MI after the end of the season.
Rohit Sharma is hands down one of the most calculative and farsighted captains the Indian team has ever had, and the same was seen in his conduct towards the MI team. But as life moved on, Rohit was dropped as a captain by Mumbai Indians' authorities. Now, an old video of Ro-Hit has been making rounds on the web, in which he made the big revelation that if not the Mumbai Indians, then which IPL team he would like to join.

In an interview, Rohit Sharma was asked which team, if not Mumbai Indians, he would want to captain. Rohit did not think for a second and elaborated that his favourite ground to play at is Eden Gardens, and a lot has happened on that ground. So, if not MI, Rohit would love to captain and play for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Recently, reports have been rife that Rohit Sharma is not happy with Hardik Pandya's captaincy, which is why he is planning to leave MI after this season wraps up. According to a source close to the team, Rohit and Hardik are having several disagreements, for which Rohit has not only informed the authorities about the same but also informed his teammates of the chances of Rohit leaving the team. For the next season, Rohit will be available for auction, and other franchises may select him for their teams.

Mumbai Indians was last seen playing against Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Here, all MI fans started booing Hardik Pandya and vehemently mocked his conduct. Former captain, Rohit Sharma then came in support of Hardik and gestured to the crowd to slow down and stop mocking Hardik. All MI fans appreciated this gesture of Rohit.
