Nepotism in Bollywood has been a hot topic of discussion for a long time. While many outsiders have talked about its existence in Bollywood, others have debunked the speculations. Popular actor, Amit Sadh, who has been part of many notable projects over the years, also shared his two cents on the same. For the unversed, the actor was seen in movies like Kai Po Che, Sultan, Gold and many others.
In an interview with FilmiBeat, Amit Sadh was asked about Parineeti Chopra's recent statement about favouritism in Bollywood and whether he has ever been affected by nepotism. Reacting to it, Amit responded that he came to Mumbai with just Rs. 300 in his hand, and now, he has been part of many projects over the years. In his words:

"I came to Mumbai with just 300 rupees, and today, I have been part of films, TV shows, and OTT projects. Do you think anything bad has happened to me? These are all rubbish. I am not talking about anybody. I respect Parineeti and everyone's view. But I really don't understand all this."

Amit Sadh mentioned that now he has been getting regular work and prefers to focus on the positives. He added that even if he becomes a big superstar someday, he will never complain about anything. Talking about the same, he said:
"My films are coming. I am getting good work. Even if tomorrow I become the biggest superstar, I would still have some complaints, and then I would pinch myself and say, 'Bhai, don't complain and just focus on positives. And, of course, on the days when you are down, get yourself up, and remember there is always tomorrow'."
The actor added that he is thankful for the people who supported him in his journey. He further pointed out how the availability of various platforms has made it easier for actors to portray their skills. Amit also clarified that he never sits idle and instead works on his skills and reflects on what he is lacking. In his words:
"I would not be here without the people who have supported me. There have been directors who have written roles for me, and people who have said, 'You have a compulsory part in my project.' I believe that because of various platforms, it's a bit easier today. If you're at home and work is not coming your way, don't sit idle. Work on your skills, retrospect where you are lacking, and focus on what you should do. There's absolutely no point in complaining. Instead of focusing on who didn't give you work, focus on who has supported you. Be grateful."
