With titles like 'Sadi ka Mahanayak', 'Shahenshah of Bollywood' and many others, Amitabh Bachchan is still standing like a rock with a career spanning over five decades. Born on October 11, 1942, to renowned poet, late Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his wife, Teji Bachchan, Amitabh is one of the most glorious names in the history of Indian cinema.
Be it the quintessential playwright 'Amit' in Silsila or portraying a 12-year-old 'Auro', a pre-teen born with progeria in Paa, Amitabh Bachchan has always managed to awestruck the audience. The actor turned 80 and received an array of wishes from worldwide. From family, friends, colleagues and fans, everyone paid tribute to the veteran actor.

To mark the special occasion of his birthday, his wife, Jaya Bachchan and son, Abhishek Bachchan surprised the actor by visiting him on the sets of the game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. The episode was a mixed bag of emotions as his family took him on a nostalgic ride by showing him old pictures. Abhishek also played a special video message from his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
In the video, Aishwarya and Aaradhya wished Amitabh Bachchan with a heartfelt message. Showering their love and respect for him, the mother-daughter duo said:
“Aapko janamdin ki bohot bohot shubhkaamnayein. Hum par humesha aapka aashirwaad bana rahe. Dher saara pyaar. Dhanyawaad.”

Earlier, in an interview with the IANS, Amitabh Bachchan shared that he loves to spoil his grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. He revealed how Aaradhya loves to sit at his working desk and wants to play with the laptop and mentioned that it brings him immense joy. Talking about the same, Big B had said:
“I’ve loved all of them. When I want to spoil my grandkids, I am so authoritative that their parents dare not oppose me. Aaradhya will still come and destroy my working desk, as she wants to use this pen and wants to write things and wants to play with the laptop. It brings immense joy and is a beautiful experience.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the film, Brahmastra!
