On October 10, 2020, Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture from one of his projects' dubbing. In the picture, the actor can be seen sitting in a dubbing studio with an editor and looked handsome. Along with this picture, the actor shared the priceless advice of his late father and legendary writer, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Revealing the same in his caption, he wrote, "At work .. KBC from 9 am to 9 pm .. and after that here at recording .. Bina mehnat kiye jeevan mai kuch milta nahi hai! Babu ji kehte the, "Jab tak jeevan hai, tab tak sangarsh hai." Take a look:
The legendary writer, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, needs no introduction. His poetries have inspired millions of readers across the world and his son, Amitabh ji has also inherited the 'love for words' from his late father. His father had lived a life in extreme poverty, yet he had given a plethora of poems to the Indian Sahitya. It was on January 19, 2003, when Harivansh Rai Bachchan had passed away for the heavenly abode. In a throwback interview with the IANS, Amitabh ji had shared that he has no legacy rather, it is his father's legacy that he is interested in. He had said, "It is coming on to 50 years in public life... That is as far as I am personally concerned. But I have been in public life from the day I was born. I was always the son of Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan, eminent poet, litterateur, having public presence far greater than mine. I have no legacy. My father's legacy is what I am interested in, and I shall always try to further it." On January 19, 2020, Amitabh ji had taken a journey down his memory lane and had remembered his late father's last moments. He had taken to his Twitter handle and had penned a note that could be read as "A few moments ago he had breathed his last. My Father, as I held his hand, soft, still vibrant, the hand that wrote genius."
