Amitabh Bachchan, the evergreen star of Bollywood, needs no introduction. The talented actor, with a career of almost six decades in the Hindi film industry, provided his fans with some notable movies. Even at the age of 80, Big B can easily give the stars from the younger generation a run for their money. Not only in films, but Amitabh has been shelling out his versatility everywhere, like web series, advertisements, and reality shows. However, every now and then, Big B walks down memory lane and shares his fans with unheard anecdotes, whether from his personal life or professional life, including any particular scene or song in his movies. And yet, the same happened again as he talked about an unheard anecdote from one of his much-loved movies, Yaarana.
There's no denying the fact that Big B's iconic role in the movie, Yaarana brought him a lot of praise and fame, and people, even today, couldn't forget the actor's jaw-dropping performance in that film. One of the most iconic songs of the movie, Sara Zamana, is still one of the favourite melodies amongst the audience. To shoot this iconic song, Amitabh had to wear a jumper, fixed with electric bulbs. However, in a recent episode of KBC 15, Amitabh opened up about that particular outfit and revealed who suggested the idea for the same.

Amitabh Bachchan recently shared that the bulb jumper that he wore in the song, Sara Zamana, was his idea. Revealing more details about the same, Big B stated that he told the designer that he wanted bulbs in his outfit, and the designer did the same. The veteran actor then shared that the designer attached the bulbs with wires that were added to the plugs. Big B then mentioned that he regretted his idea later because while performing that particular song, he felt electricity running in him. Sharing how, more details about the same, Amitabh stated:
"That outfit was also my idea. I regretted it later though. I told the designer that I wanted bulbs and it needed to spark. He got it made and I asked him how did he do it. The designer said, ‘I have attached it all to the wire and that will go to the plug’. So, all those steps that you saw in the dance were because of the plug as the electricity was running in me.”
Amitabh Bachchan shared some more unheard anecdotes about the song, Sara Zamana. The actor shared that he suggested the producer to shoot the song at an indoor stadium in Kolkata, named Netaji Subhash Stadium, which had the capacity to hold 12,000 people at that time. Sharing more than 50,000 people showed up during the shooting, Big B recalled:
"I had suggested the producer to shoot one of the songs, ‘Sara Zamana’, in a different way. There was a new indoor stadium in Kolkata called Netaji Subhash Stadium. They asked how we would bring people there and shoot. I suggested that we should spread the word about the shooting. The stadium could have only 12,000 people but 50,000 people had come and another 50,000 were waiting outside.”

In the same episode, Amitabh Bachchan thanked his fans for their immense love and prayers that actually saved him after he went through an accident during the shooting of his film, Coolie. While thanking his fans, Big B mentioned:
"I will always be grateful to you. When I was injured in 1982 during the shoot of Coolie, all of you prayed for me and I can never forget that. I have this huge weight on my shoulders and I will always be indebted to my fans. I will never be able to repay it, that’s what I feel. I am sitting here because of your prayers and blessings."
