Amid the unpleasant rumours spreading around, Amitabh shared a heartwarming anecdote about his son, Abhishek Bachchan, and his grandchildren that perfectly reflects their tight bond.
Veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy hosting the sixteenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. During a recent episode of the same, the Piku actor was seen discussing the advancement of technology with a contestant. Big B revealed that he had a profound interest in gadgets and liked staying up-to-date with all kinds of technology.
The contestant asked Amitabh how he keeps up with the latest gadgets, and the host shared that when he got stuck with gadgets, he would turn to his trusted family members for help. That includes his son, Abhishek Bachchan and his grandkids. For the unversed, Amitabh has three grandchildren, including Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda through his daughter, Shweta, and Aaradhya Bachchan through his son, Abhishek.
Big B stated that he often faced problems with technology late at night. So, he started reaching out to those members of his family who stayed up late like him. However, Abhishek and his grandkids can't help but take a playful jab at his old age whenever he does so. In Amitabh's words:
"A couple of them are in the family, my grandson-granddaughter, Abhishek. These people are all very knowledgeable. And when I want to learn from them, ask them 'how do they do it? Why can I not do it?' They just say, 'Aapki umar ho gayi hai, aap ghar baithiye – hum batayenge aapko'." Amitabh shared this with a laugh and proceeded to tell the contestant that he should share his contact number with Amitabh so he can call him for help."
Amitabh Bachchan is not only fond of gadgets but frequently uses them to stay in touch with his loyal fans. He is one of the only celebrities in India to keep up daily contact with those who admire him through his blog. Fans learnt that Big B frequently stays up late in the night through the time stamps on his blog. Thus, they often ask their favourite actor to get some rest for the sake of his health.
