Amitabh Bachchan Shares Deets Of Shweta Bachchan's 50th B'Day At Pratiksha, 'Her Husband Nikhil...'

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda marked her 50th birthday on March 17, 2024. She celebrated her special day surrounded by her loved ones and hosted a party at Pratiksha. Apart from Amitabh and Jaya, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta's daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, were also present at the event. We also spotted filmmaker, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, their daughter, Suhana Khan, and actor, Siddhant Chaturvedi at the birthday bash.

Amitabh Bachchan opens up about his daughter, Shweta's birthday galore

On March 17, 2024, Shweta Bachchan's father, Amitabh Bachchan shared a blog post and opened up about his daughter's birthday galore. He also shared the deets about how the family celebrated the special day and brought in Shweta's golden age. Amitabh penned:

“A day filled with the love of family and the greetings and the hilarity of the ‘progress reports’. Birthdays galore… Shweta, the first born, and Nikhil her husband.. within a day of each other and the bringing in of the GOLDEN age – 50 years…!”

Amitabh Bachchan recalls the day he brought his daughter, Shweta to their home, Pratiksha for the first time

Big B also took a trip down memory lane and recalled the day when he and his wife, Jaya Bachchan, brought their daughter to their home, Pratiksha, for the first time. He shared that they celebrated their daughter's 50th birthday at the same place with his children and grandchildren all together under one roof. The actor added:

“At Prateeksha, she was brought to the home, our first home of our own, when she was barely 2, and Abhishek a few months old… and today to see them celebrate the day in the same home on the same table and surroundings… LIFE IS A WONDER… Children and grandchildren all together.”

Amitabh Bachchan talks about the importance of family bond

Amitabh Bachchan also posted a few photos of himself greeting his fans outside his home and shared that family brings love, togetherness, and joy. For the unversed. the superstar meets his fans at the gate of his home, Jalsa every Sunday. Calling his fans his supreme family, Big B penned:

“Family is the greatest bond… of love togetherness and the joys of each other… may it ever be in lasting… and the family at the GOJ…? they are supreme.”

Amitabh Bachchan gave his first Juhu bungalow, Pratiksha, to his daughter, Shweta Bachchan

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan gifted his first home, Pratiksha, to his daughter, Shweta Bachchan. A report in the Economic Times stated that the transfer of ownership was done by Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, Jaya Bachchan, on November 8, 2023, and they had paid a total stamp duty worth Rs. 50.65 lakhs. The report also revealed that the bungalow, which is spread over a total of 16,840 sq feet, has a market value of over Rs. 50.63 crores.
