Recently, on Kaun Banega Crorepati, a contestant came on the hot seat and talked about his bond with his sibling. He then asked Amitabh Bachchan to share what kind of bond he shared with his brother, Ajitabh Bachchan. Amitabh revealed that he and his brother were close like every other sibling pair. The duo used to share a lot of secrets with each other, which they could not share with their parents.

Amitabh Bachchan then added that there were times when he and his brother fought. During this time, they used to blackmail each other, threatening to reveal their secrets to their parents just to scare the other one. For the unversed, Ajitabh is Amitabh Bachchan's younger brother.

During the Family Special Week of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan shared a special anecdote about his brother, Ajitabh Bachchan. Big B reminisced about the role Ajitabh played in shaping his acting career. The actor vividly described how Ajitabh, while Amitabh was still working a 9 to 5 job in Kolkata, encouraged him to venture into films. His words echoed with the courage it took for Amitabh to follow his brother's advice:

“Dekhiye mai apko batata hoon, jaise bhai behno me ya do bhaiyon ka rishta hota hai na, jo chota hota hai kahi na kahi uske liye ek protective vatavaran banate hai humlog. Ki uski dekh rekh karte rhe. Humlog naukri kar rhe the Kolkata mein, unhone hamari tasveer li or bhej diya ek contest me. Kaha ki dekho tumhe filmo me jaana chaiye.”

On Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan was asked by a contestant whether he can gives enough time to his wife, Jaya Bachchan, as he is often busy with work commitments. Amitabh said that he feels hurt when people come to him and ask him personal questions. Amitabh can be quoted as saying:

"Oho kya bataye? Yeh joh parivarik prashn puch lete hai na log yaha aake..usmei humko bada kasht hota hai."
