Amitabh Bachchan Would Keep Onion Under His Arms To Fake Illness In His Childhood, 'I Would Trick..'

Amitabh Bachchan, one of the versatile actors in Bollywood, leaves no chance to send everyone into a collective meltdown with his acting skills, wit, amazing personality, and more. With a career spanning more than three decades, Amitabh, at the age of 81, can give a shoulder-to-shoulder fight to the young generation of actors. The actor is currently hosting the 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, wherein he, now and then, reveals some unheard anecdotes about his life. And yet the same happened again, as Amitabh walked back in time and recalled his school days. 

Amitabh Bachchan recalls how he tricked others into believing he was ill to avoid school

In the latest episode of KBC 16, the contestant, Shobhika Shree, shared a lot about her life, from personal to professional fronts. Shobhika revealed that she works in the health and medical services sector and has to stay away from her husband due to their work commitments. To this, Amitabh Bachchan shared some tricks that she can use to take time off from work and mentioned that he also used to do the same to avoid school often.

Amitabh Bachchan advised Shobhika to fake health issues so that she can get off from work, and focus on her personal life. Amitabh recalled how he, too, used to fake illness and make everyone believe the same and avoid going to school when he didn't feel like going. The actor added that he used hacks and would often keep onion under his arms and pretend to get a fever. Such a confession left everyone laughing out loud. Amitabh can be heard saying:

"When I was in school I would fake my health issues and trick people into believing that I was ill so that I can skip school. There’s a hack that if one keep onion under their arms, then they would get fever and I would use it all the time.”

Amitabh Bachchan revealed he failed in his B.Sc and scored less than 50 percent later

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan, in an episode of KBC 16, revealed that he bagged good marks in science, which made him opt for the science stream, as he heard that this stream comes along with a lot of opportunities. Amitabh shared that attending the first lecture itself, made him realise that he opted for the wrong stream. The actor mentioned that he failed the first time and then re-appeared for the exam. Amitabh added that after trying a lot and putting in his best efforts, he was able to secure a score of 42 percent in his B.Sc exams.

Amitabh Bachchan answered why he still works even at the age of 81

People often question Amitabh Bachchan about why he still chooses to work even in his 80s. Taking to his blogs, earlier, Amitabh mentioned that while people definitely have their opinion to comment on this matter and come to a conclusion, his reasons for the same had always been enclosed, shuttered, and locked. The actor used a metaphor and revealed how creating a sandcastle and ensuring its permanency requires someone to work on the same continuously, and he has also been doing the same.
