Something similar happened in one of the episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16 when a contestant named Pranati Paidipati asked Big B an interesting question related to shopping. The contestant asked Big B whether he had ever checked the price tag before buying things at a shop. The question brought a loud laugh in the crowd, and the show's host, Amitabh Bachchan, responded in style. The veteran actor immediately recalled an incident that had happened with him when he was shopping in London.
Opening up about the same incident, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he was on a vacation to London and decided to go on a shopping spree. After doing some shopping, he entered a shop and started looking at some ties. Big B further added that he was looking at a tie and was almost convinced to buy it, but suddenly, the shop's owner came to him and informed him about its price. The shopkeeper told Big B that the tie was worth 120 GBP (Great Britain Pound). Recalling the statement, he said:

"We were just shopping around, and I happened to be looking at a tie, when the shopkeeper, with a dismissive tone, said it cost 120 pounds."
Amitabh Bachchan further shared that the moment shopkeeper told him about the tie's price in a dismissive tone, he gave him a befitting reply by saying, "Pack ten of these for me." Big B's revelation instantly received a loud cheer from everyone in the crowd. The KBC host further added that sometimes it's important to show Indian spirit and confidence in these moments on foreign grounds. Big B further added that Indians shouldn't let anyone underestimate them. Recalling his befitting response to the shopkeeper, Big B said:
"I looked right back at him and responded, 'Pack ten of these for me.' It's moments like these that remind me of the importance of showing our Indian spirit and confidence, even when faced with condescension. We sometimes need to make it clear that we are not to be underestimated."
