The Ambanis are simply counting the days for the biggest event of the year- Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on July 12, 2024. Ahead of that, they have already hosted two gala pre-wedding events, including a lavish program in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in March 2024, and another one at a luxurious cruise set in Europe in the last week of May 2024. Now, in the last days before the grand wedding, the Ambanis are performing all kinds of rituals in their Gujarati culture, giving importance to their roots.

Glimpses of the luxurious hamper created for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Mameru ceremony

On July 3, 2024, the Ambanis celebrated a traditional Gujarati ceremony named Mosalu, wherein the groom’s mother’s family, comes to the residence to bless the couple along with gifts and offerings. The traditional set of gifts are known as Mameru. Thus, Nita Ambani’s family, mainly her mother, Purnima Dalal and sister, Mamta Dalal attended the ceremony. Now, we got glimpses of the cutest hamper made especially for the to-be-married couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, for their Mameru ceremony.

In a video shared on an Instagram page, Gifts Tell All, we can spot a beautiful hamper featuring a number of drool-worthy goodies. The hamper included jewellery boxes and also an orange-hued package from the luxurious label, Hermes. Moreover, it had a silver figurine of Shrinath ji along with a beautiful frame, featuring a lovely photo of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, from their Hastakshar event of the first pre-wedding ceremony.

Radhika Merchant wore a Goddess Durga shloka inscribed Bandhani lehenga for her Mameru ceremony

For the Mameru ceremony, Radhika Merchant stunned in a Bandhani lehenga from Manish Malhotra's collections. The dual-toned Bandhani lehenga featured Gurajati prints in a Rani pink-hued fabric. The ghaghra also had gold zardosi taar and Goddess Durga shloka inscribed on it. Radhika's vintage koti choli and exquisite gold jewels added an oomph factor to her look. For the unversed, the jewellery, including a gold choker, matching earrings, maang teeka, bangles, and the gorgeous hair accessory, belonged to her mom, Shaila Merchant, which she had worn at her Mameru ceremony.

Anant and Radhika made a grand entry at their Mameru ceremony in a jungle-themed rath

Well, glimpses from the traditional event ahead of Anant and Radhika's wedding proved it was no less than another gala one. For instance, while the entire Ambani residence was decorated with fancy lights, LED boards, mascots and numerous standees, the couple was also spotted making a grand entry at their Mameru ceremony in a jungle-themed rath. It was mainly a tribute to Anant's dream project and animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara. In the glimpses, we spotted the to-be-couple riding on the chariot, which featured mascots of birds like flamingos and swans, as well as deer, foxes and many others and lots of greens, making it an unmissable one.
