One of the wealthiest families in Asia and probably the richest in India, Ambanis never fail to win millions of hearts with their grounded nature. Now and then, the Ambanis set examples for many with their generosity. And yet the same happened as billionaire industrialist, Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani pledged Rs. 25 crores towards Uttarakhand Relief Fund or Mukhya Mantri Rahat Kosh.
Anant Ambani made a donation of Rs. 25 crores on behalf of Reliance Industries towards Uttarakhand flood relief to help rebuild lives and take various developments in the Himalayan state. For those who don't know, the flood in the state has been reported to have taken more than a hundred lives and affected more than 40 thousand families. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked Anant Ambani on behalf of the people from the hilly areas for this generous work. Check out Anant's letter to the CM:

For those who don't know, for the last decade, Reliance Industries has been constantly engaged in resolving the concerns of the inhabitants of Uttarakhand, which is why Anant has again extended his help and continued to assist Uttarakhand's development in every way possible.
On September 10, 2023, a press release by Reliance Industries Limited said that Reliance has been there beside Uttarakhand through difficult times since the 2013 flood. In this press release, it was also mentioned how Reliance has extended its help towards the state and its far-flung areas by providing relief and shelter and initiating efforts to rebuild lives. Reliance has also constructed two schools that have been fruitful to the inhabitants. The company also supported the state during the floods in 2021 and during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Reliance Industries has been continuously collaborating with the governments and has taken various social initiatives in order to improve the lives of the people of the hilly regions. As per the RIL press release, Reliance Group has created nearly five lakh cubic meters of water storage capacity in 90 villages to improve water availability. Apart from that, Reliance Group has expanded healthcare services to remote hilly regions for the betterment of the lives of its inhabitants.
It is worth mentioning that it was back in 2020 when Anant Ambani pledged a massive amount of Rs. 5 crores to the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam to extend help for the COVID-19 lockdown losses. Again, in 2021, another donation of Rs. 5 crores was made from Reliance towards the COVID-19 relief efforts.
