Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's 'Mangal Utsav': Venue Gets Decked Up By Sanskrit-Inscription Scrolls

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s post-wedding rituals began with the ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ ceremony on July 13, 2024. The newly-married couple received hearty blessings and well-wishes from a number of people, including the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, following the sanatani rituals. Fast forward to today, on July 14, 2024, Anant and Radhika will ring in their Mangal Utsav. While the glamour of the evening is yet to unfold, we caught hold of the first glimpse of the venue, which resembles sheer divinity.

While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon the first glimpse from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s second post-wedding event, called the Mangal Utsav. The couple, who has swooned millions of people with their fairy-tale love story and surreal wedding, will now celebrate their marriage in the company of their friends and family, and most importantly, with the blessings of the almighty. The venue was seen adorned with the unique ‘AR’ logo, made with the initials of Anant and Radhika’s names.

Moreover, we spotted the unique addition of large scrolls as backdrop, which had several Sanskrit inscriptions and Vedic mantras, that created an ambience of piousness and recognition of the supreme power of divinity. For illumination and lighting purposes, some vintage standing chandeliers and lamps were also placed, adding to the glamour of the venue.

Ambani bahu, Radhika Merchant’s first post-wedding look for her Shubh Aashirwad

All throughout the various ceremonies and events of her wedding, the new Ambani bahu, Radhika Merchant has been serving some of the most fashionable looks for each and every occasion. For instance, Radhika opted for a unique hand-painted lehenga for making her first appearance as Mrs Anant Ambani during the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony. Custom designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the outfit was made in collaboration with renowned artist and sculptor, Jayasri Barman, whose painting was revoked as motifs in Radhika’s lehenga.

Radhika teamed it with a matching-hued blouse that had real, hand-woven resham work. To accentuate the look, she wore a beautiful diamond and emerald necklace, matching earrings, and a maang-teeka. With a soft makeup base, Radhika opted for a low ponytail hairdo, adorned with lotus buds.

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi gave his blessings to Anant and Radhika, along with gifts made of silver

Back on July 13, 2024, internet was glued to the moment when the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi arrived to bless the newlywed couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He graced the venue and became a part of the sanatani ritual, wherein he blessed them and gifted them his token of love, placed in a thaali made of pure silver. In retrospect, both Anant and Radhika bowed down and greeted him with a traditional namaste, while he blessed them.
