Many highlighted that the series seemed copied from West concepts. An user wrote, "Very 2 broke girls+Schitt creek ka sasta version." While, another fan penned, "Trailer to sahi laga! Seems like an Indian adaptation of 2 broke girls. And Ananya's annoying voice is kinda going good with this character."

A source close to the ex-couple revealed that they have called off their relationship and are trying to move on while remaining cordial with one another. The source added:

“They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely."
