Ananya Panday is one of the most popular star kids of her generation. She often makes headlines for her personal and professional life. Lately, Ananya has been receiving praise for her recently released web series, Call Me Bae. Amid this, a video of the actress has surfaced on social media, which has brought her under scrutiny.
Popular filmmaker, Farah Khan recently visited Ananya Panday's house to shoot a vlog for her YouTube channel. In the video, Farah tried to teach Ananya to cook. In a clip that was shared on Reddit, Ananya and Farah were seen standing in the kitchen, and the latter asked the actress where the oil was kept. To this, Ananya replied:

"Oil wahi rakha hai jahan oil hona chahiye."
Farah Khan looked baffled after hearing Ananya's reply, but she handled the situation in a dignified manner. It could be seen that Farah was trying hard not to laugh at Ananya's dumbness. She told Ananya that everyone keeps the things in their kitchen according to their convenience and said:
"You know har kitchen me log apne hisab se oil rakhte hain. Acha ruk, mai dhoondh ke aati hoon, tu gas on kar, mai puchh kar aati hu."
As Farah Khan started looking for the oil, Ananya was seen standing next to the stove. She looked towards the cameraman and confessed, "I don't know how to put the gas on." However, later, she managed to light the stove after taking help from her cook. Farah also congratulated Ananya on her achievement and praised her. Then Ananya began cooking.

Soon after the video surfaced on the internet, netizens started reacting to it. They slammed Ananya for acting pretentious and trying to be cool. A social media user penned, "This is not cute. If you're an adult, learn some fundamental life skills like turning on the stove, cooking some basic meals, etc. Even if you're uber privileged, these skills will come in handy." Meanwhile some others also claimed that Ananya was trying to be Kendall Jenner.
