Ananya Panday Wanted A Huge Wedding Soiree But Got Struck By Alia And Ranbir's 'Balcony Wedding'

Ananya Panday is rising high in her professional life. The actress won hearts with her performance in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Call Me Bae, and now, she was last seen in CTRL. In her personal life, Ananya was speculated to be in a relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur, with whom the actress reportedly broke up earlier this year. As of now, Ananya is said to be in a relationship with Walker Blanco. And amid the buzz about her personal life, Ananya expressed her wish to get married in a low-key ceremony, just like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Ananya Panday expresses her wish to have a 'balcony' wedding like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

In an interview with Galatta India, Ananya Panday revealed that she really liked Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's idea of getting married on their balcony. She added how other people often hunt for wedding venue, but Alia and Ranbir kept it lowkey. Ananya further added how Alia, in her caption, revealed that she and Ranbir spend a lot of time on the balcony, and thus, it became meaningful for the couple to get married on their balcony. In Ananya's words:

"I love Alia and Ranbir’s because they got married at home. I feel like sometimes people focus on ‘yeh location, woh location."

In the same interview, Ananya Panday revealed that when she was a little kid, just like every other girl with a Disney dream, she wanted to have a huge wedding ceremony with seven functions. Ananya further added that she now wants her close friends to attend the wedding and do something special for her and her partner, and that would be all. Ananya also expressed her wish to have a blast at her wedding. Ananya can be quoted as saying:

"When I was growing up, I was like, ‘Mujhe bahut badi shaadi karni hai, 7 function karne hai,’ but now I just want my close people around me doing something that means something to me and my partner.”

Ananya Panday's relationship buzz with Walker Blanco

A few days ago, reports were rife that Ananya Panday started dating former model, Walker Blanco. While the couple never addressed the buzz, Ananya's way of wearing an 'AW' pendant, and Walker's cute shout-outs gave a slight confirmation of the buzz. Walker reportedly works in Vantara, and the duo allegedly met during Anant Ambani's first pre-wedding soiree and instantly hit it off. After that, Ananya and Walker met in Mumbai, which bridged their bond.

Earlier, a video of Ananya went viral, wherein she was seen hiding her phone as soon as it flashed Walker's call. As per a report by News18, Walker's name was saved with a cluster of cute emoticons. When asked about the same, Ananya, in an interview with News18 added that she's not trying to hide anything and doesn't care about it at all. Ananya also added that she has now given up on these matters, as she realised that the more she would try to hide something, the more she would be caught doing it.
