From a career spanning over five decades to being the queen of Indian cinema, Sridevi had ruled the hearts of millions for over generations. She had left behind a rich legacy with more than 300 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi that will remain close to our hearts forever. She had also given us the gift of her two adorable daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, who are taking forward her lessons and preachings in life. While Janhvi has already created her name in Bollywood, Khushi is completing her further studies in the United States.
Today, on February 24, 2019, it's been over two years when we last saw Sridevi's happy pictures with her family on her Instagram handle from one of her relative's wedding in Dubai. No one knew at that time that it would be the last click of our favourite Sridevi. The actress' entire family still misses her and the aura around her. Bollywood actor and her devar, Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and wrote a special note for Sridevi's second death anniversary. The note can be read as "Sri, 2 years have gone by and we've missed you every day. Reminiscing about old memories is a bittersweet feeling. We wish you had more time with the people you love, but we are thankful for all the time we have with you. You're in our thoughts and prayers forever." Check it out below:
Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor also shared an unseen picture with Sridevi from a wedding. The picture was enough to talk about the bond, the two sisters-in-law used to share. The star-wife had captioned the picture with heart emojis. Take a look at it below:

Last year, Janhvi had remembered Sridevi by posting a monochrome picture of her mother’s hand in her hand, and had written, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.”
The entire world of the Kapoor Khandaan changed with the sudden demise of Sridevi. In an interaction with the film critic and trade analyst, Komal Nahta, Sridevi's husband, Boney Kapoor had shared the details of his conversation with his wife, and had shared, “On 24th morning, I spoke to her when she told me, ‘Papa (that’s how she addressed Boney), I’m missing you.’ I also told her that I was missing her a lot. But I didn’t tell her that I would be joining her in Dubai in the evening. Janhvi had seconded my idea of going to Dubai because she was scared, her mom, not used to being alone, would misplace her passport or some important document if she was alone. The Dubai stay was the first time Sridevi was alone for two days – 22nd and 23rd – in a foreign land.”
Janhvi had also talked about the challenges that she had faced and things that changed after her mother’s death. In an interview with Vogue, Janhvi had revealed, “The day before she left for the wedding (Mohit Marwah's wedding in UAE), I had to shoot, but I couldn't sleep, so I was like, 'I need you to come and put me to sleep.' But she was packing, so by the time she came to me I was half asleep. But I could feel her patting my head.” (Don't Miss: Janhvi Kapoor Shares An Unseen Picture Of Her Late Mother, Sridevi On Her 2nd Death Anniversary)
