Bigg Boss OTT 3 was full of surprises for the fans. From contestants to conflicts, the makers left no stone unturned to entertain the audiences. The first major surprise for the audience was Anil Kapoor replacing Salman Khan as the host for BB OTT 3. Some fans were disappointed, while others were excited to watch the actor take up the role of a host for the show. However, Anil did a great job as a host and shared his emotions as the show ended.
Bigg Boss OTT 3's finale premiered on Jio Cinema on August 2, 2024. Anil Kapoor shared that it was a crazy journey to be a part of Bigg Boss OTT 3. He even accepted that the contestants have become like a family to him. So, it's difficult for him to bid goodbye to the show. He was quoted as saying:

As Anil Kapoor hosted the show for the first time, he revealed that he enjoyed every moment of hosting the popular reality show. At the same time, he is proud of every contestant. Moreover, the actor agreed that he would miss the drama of Bigg Boss OTT 3 in his life like many other fans. In his words:
"I've loved every minute of this journey, and I'm so proud of how far everyone has come. Each of them brought so much energy and fun to the house, and I've grown quite attached to them. The grand finale is going to be exciting, but I'll definitely miss the daily dose of Bigg Boss drama in my life."
When Anil Kapoor was announced as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3, his earnings from the show made headlines. As per Siasat Daily, the actor earned Rs. 2 crores for each episode, totaling Rs. 4 crores per week. At the same time, the OG host of Bigg Boss, Salman Khan, earned six times more from the show. Reportedly, Salman Khan got a massive paycheck of Rs. 350 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 17 and Rs. 12 crore per episode to host Bigg Boss OTT 2. So, Anil made six times less money than Salman Khan.
