Anita Hassanandani Announces Decision To Quit Television, Four-Months After Birth Of Her Son, Aaravv

Whether she should quit her job post embracing motherhood is what every mother goes through in her life. Though it is a tough decision and a life-changing one, some mothers are sure about what they want to do. TV actress, Anita Hassanandani had already made a decision that whenever she becomes a mother, she would leave the industry and let go of her work.

It was in February 2021, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had embraced parenthood for the first time and their 'happily ever after' journey became even more beautiful and blissful with the arrival of their little prince, Aaravv Reddy. Anita and Rohit often post on their social media handles, giving glimpses of their lives as parents and even baby Aaravv has his own Instagram profile, managed by his star parents.

After Aaravv Reddy's birth, Anita Hassanandani's fans were waiting for her maternity break to end soon and her return on television screens. But breaking everyone's heart, Anita revealed that she has no plans of returning to television anytime soon. In an interview with The Times Of India, Anita had said, "I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it's not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid."

Speaking of shooting at her home but not planning to sign up for a full-fledged show, Anita Hassanandani continued, “Honestly work is the last thing on my mind right now. I really don’t know when I will get back. Although I am doing some work here and there because of the contracts that I had signed with different brands. I am doing all this for social media where I am shooting at home and it is totally stress free. I am being extremely careful too. Maybe one person will come to shoot and the person too has to have a proper test done before coming inside the house. But getting back on a full-fledged set of a TV show, I don’t know when that will happen. But I am sure when I decide to get back, people will get to know."

Expressing her happiness on having her husband, Rohit Reddy at home and watching him bond with their son, Aaravv Reddy, Anita Hassanandani stated, "This is a phase when your child is growing up and if you miss out on this time, then you will never have it again. I am glad that Rohit spends a lot of time with Aaravv bonding with him. Rohit being at home right now is a great thing for both Aaravv and me. Of course the pandemic situation is really sad and we are all hoping for things to improve."

To announce the arrival of their baby boy, Rohit Reddy had posted a picture from their pregnancy photoshoot, in which Anita Hassanandani had flaunted her baby bump as he planted a kiss on her cheek. With 'it's a boy' written on a blue kiddie dress on the picture, Rohit had captioned it as “Oh Boy!”
