Despite knowing each other professionally, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava never met one another, let alone the thought of marrying and spending the life together. But only half-an-hour into meeting and talking to each other, Ankita and Karan decided on an eternity of togetherness and in an arranged marriage set-up, the lovebirds had tied the knot on May 03, 2015. Three years into marital bliss, Karan and Ankita had announced in May 2018 that they were expecting their first child but unfortunately, in June she suffered a miscarriage. In an official statement, Karan Patel and Ankita Karan Patel’s spokesperson had confirmed the news and had stated, “I would urge all media personnel to please allow Karan and Ankita Karan Patel enough time to deal with the miscarriage. It is a difficult time for them individually and for the families involved. This sudden turn of events happened a few days ago and ever since we have tried to keep it low key, only so that we allow them enough time to cope with it.”
It could be further read as, “However, given the nature of the lives they live we do understand there will be speculation and concern from many, while we are ever thankful to the love and concern shown I’m sure we all agree that it is a tough time for them and coming to terms with it will take a few days!! Please consider this as a formal acceptance of the misfortune that has occurred in their lives and thank you in advance for respecting their privacy.”
It has been more than a year since Ankita Karan Patel’s unfortunate miscarriage and now the reports are rife that she is all set to embrace motherhood soon. As per an IWMBuzz report, the source revealed, "We all know that Ankita had a miscarriage. However, the couple is rock solid in their relationship and is set to embrace parenthood soon. He (Karan Patel) wants to be with his wife.” However, Ankita clarified the speculations and in a rather witty response to the same, she stated, "I also heard the same from a few more portals… It seems I have been expecting every year ever since I got married 5 years ago. Anyway, Pregnant or not pregnant…. I don’t want to be in the news for this reason…AT ALL, so let’s not make any article about it anyway, Thank you for at least letting me know."
If the reports are to be believed, Ankita Karan Patel is six months pregnant and is keeping happy and healthy. Apparently, her pregnancy is also the reason why her husband, Karan Patel had opted out of Bigg Boss 13, wherein he was almost finalised as a contestant, as he wanted to be with her.

Karan Patel and Ankita Karan Patel had tried hard to cope up with this huge loss in their lives and with positivity, they have moved on. While Karan had gotten busy with his professional commitments, Ankita had found solace in painting, which added colours to her life. Sometime back, Ankita had actively explored her new passion for painting and had shared that it came to her rescue when she was going through a difficult phase.
In an interview with the Times of India, Ankita Karan Patel had stated, “Painting came to my rescue when I was going through a difficult phase. Even otherwise, it has made me a stronger and better person. Today, I have accepted that whatever happened was according to God’s plan. The future, too, will unfold as planned by him.”
Since Ankita wasn’t formally trained in painting, she had planned to attend short painting workshops. Speaking about her artwork, Ankita was quoted as saying, “I find solace in painting, and I paint whatever inspires me. What I love about painting is that for those three-four hours every day, it gives me unadulterated focus. There are no phone calls, text messages… the mind doesn’t wander in different directions. My maiden artwork was a Buddha painting and I found it meditative. I have now started doing abstract work and have made a few for my actor friends.” (Also Read: Shoaib Ibrahim Shares A Lovey-Dovey Picture With The Love Of His Life, Dipika Kakar)
