Ankita Lokhande was evicted from Bigg Boss 17 in the fourth position. The actress constantly made headlines throughout her journey and won many hearts. Moreover, the dynamics of her relationship with her husband, Vicky Jain, her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, and even her ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput, became the talk of the town. However, Ankita tried to mend things at her end and even apologised to her saasu maa.
In the finale episode, before Salman Khan announced the winner, he made Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s mother take vows for each other. While taking her vows, Ankita apologised to her saasu maa for her fights with Vicky on the show and promised to give her husband immense love and to try to make his mother happy. However, she further added that since Vicky’s mother has not lived with them, she didn’t realise that a lot of their fights were casual. She said:
“Shayad aap humare saath kabhi rahe nahi hain…”

After Ankita's eviction, the other finalists on the show were Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra. While the finalists were seen singing and dancing inside the BB house, Ankita was heartbroken. The actress' eviction came as a shock to everyone, especially her husband, Vicky Jain. As Ankita was standing on the stage with her mother, Vicky had tears in his eyes as he sat among the audience.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan also expressed his shock at Ankita Lokhande's eviction and mentioned that he thought that the latter would win the show. He told Ankita that the entire team was shocked and wondering what went wrong that she was evicted. Salman added:
“I am shocked. I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked. Last year, I thought Priyanka (Chahar Chaudhury) would win and this year, I had the feeling that Ankita would win. Aur jitne bhi Bigg Boss seasons huye hai; I think this [Ankita’s journey] must have been the toughest journey of all time.”

Reacting to Salman's statement, Ankita said that she didn’t know what to say. However, the actress then added that she was okay since her mother was standing next to her and her family was supporting her. Ankita later told Salman:
“Mujhe laga that mujhe badi problem hogi agar main jaldi nikal jaati hoon.”
