No matter how strong we act, but nothing pains more than the death of a special person. The time stops for the people, who are left behind and all they have is memories of that person. While we all know that nothing is permanent, losing someone at a young age (mysteriously) takes a toll on your emotional health. And that's what the entire nation had felt when they had seen the news of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's death, which was being portrayed as a suicide. Sushant is not with us, but there hasn't been a single day when his family and fans have not thought about him. The entire world is still praying for the truth behind his mysterious death to come out. It's been almost seven months, and we still cannot make peace with the fact that we are never going to see his charming face again. It hurts to know that no one will ever get to see his witty sense of humour in his millions of interviews, and his Twitter and Instagram Feed will never have another update from the extraordinary star.
Just like all of us, Sushant Singh Rajput's former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande also felt the pain of Sushant's death. Recently, the actress paid him a special tribute at Zee Rishtey Awards 2020. Before her performance, the actress shared a message for his fans. She urged her fans to watch it and said, "Zee Rishtey Awards zaroor dekhiye kyunki iss baar kuch khaas hai jo aap sabke liye hai. Saare jitne bhi fans hai Sushant ke, unke liye hai. I know Sushant se bohot log pyaar karte hai. Bas aaj unke liye ek choti si koshish hai meri taraf se. Please isey dekhiye aur dher saara pyaar dijiye." Check out the video:
Earlier, this month, Ankita had shared a glimpse of her dance practice for the big tribute. She had posted a video and had revealed how difficult it was for her, "This time it’s very different and difficult to perform. From me to u it’s painful!!!! #sushantsinghrajput #manavarchana #ankitalokhande #zeerishteawards2020 #tribute #pavitrarishta." Earlier, in an interview with Republic TV, Ankita had revealed why she had not attended her former-boyfriend, Sushant's funeral. She had shared that she had gotten up from a phone call of a journalist, who had informed her about his death, "I was sleeping, and I just got up with some reporter's call. Usually, I don't take unknown numbers. I picked up the call, and this reporter said, ''Ankita, Sushant has committed suicide!'' And I was finished. It was something that you don't expect something like this."
She had further added, "I didn't know what to do. I was just there. The next day, there was his funeral, and I couldn't make it because somewhere I knew that if I see Sushant somewhere like that, in that position, that stage. I have my whole life to live, and I will never be able to forget that phase. So I decided that I cannot go to the funeral." Ankita had also shared that she had met his family after the funeral, and had said, "Apart from that, I had to meet his family. I wanted to make sure that they are okay. Jo jaana tha woh chala gaya but uske papa the, behne thi (He was gone but his father and sisters were there), and that was my duty to go and meet them. So I went and met them, and they were in a very bad condition. That's it, that's how I got to know."
