He was last seen in Rifle Club and Viduthalai Part 2 and is ready to get back to work after his daughter's wedding.
Anurag Kashyap's daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, got married on December 11, 2024, to the love of her life, Shane Gregorie and a month after her wedding, she took to her YouTube channel on January 11, 2025 and shared her wedding video. The nineteen-minute-long video gave the subscribers a look into her wedding festivities, including the couple's haldi, mehendi, cocktail party, wedding, and grand wedding reception.
Aaliyah's fairytale wedding was beautifully captured in the clip. It opened with Aaliyah’s haldi festivities on their terrace, which their close family and friends attended. The filmmaker, was featured hugging his daughter in the video. Haldi was followed by Aaliyah's mehendi ceremony. The content creator was seen along with her family and friends at her house. For the unversed, Aaliyah got the pictures of her pets in her henna design.
The scene shifted to the cocktail party, which dazzled in the presence of Kalki Kochlin and Aaliyah's mother, Aarti Bajaj, and Imtiaz Ali. The video featured the friends and family dancing with the couple and enjoying the night. On the big day, Aaliyah and Shane were seen talking about each other as they shared love-filled messages for each other. Shane got emotional as he said, "Aaliyah is the girl I was looking for all my life. She is my soulmate, without a doubt. I am overjoyed."
An emotional Aaliyah also spoke about Shane and stated, "I feel so lucky that I met someone who loves me so much. I just think he is my best friend, and I want to spend all my life with my best friend."
