While India is known for its diversity in cultures, customs and religions, it is also the weddings that make this place a unique land. The fun and galore in the pre-wedding festivities such as mehendi, sangeet and haldi, the emotions-filled wedding and vidaai, concluded by the extravagant reception; mesmerizes us for the weddings to the fullest! Done with the mehendi and haldi, the to-be bride and groom, Anurag Sharma and Nandini Gupta looked royal on their engagement ceremony, which happened yesterday (January 30, 2020)! Anurag Sharma and Nandini Gupta’s wedding festivities had begun with a satsang and it was the elated bride-to-be, who had posted glimpses of the same on her Instagram. For the satsang, Nandini had opted for a white kurta with blue-coloured floral printed dupatta. She had accentuated her look with floral jewellery and a wide smile on her face. Anurag had expressed his feelings for his bride-to-be’s satsang look with the song, Na Kajare Ki Dhar from the film, Mohra and had written, “Na kajre ki dhaar na motiyo k haar, na koi Kiya shringar fir bhi kitni sunder ho @starnandini.” To which, Nandini had replied, “#dulhanwalifeeling @anuragkraag.” Sharing pictures and videos from the first ceremony of her wedding, Nandini had written, “Meri shaadi ki pehli dholak #Shaadikasatsang #guruparampara #soontobemarried #31012020 #anuraagkidulhaniya #ANUDINI @anuragkraag”, “#soontobemarried @anuragkraag ki Dulhaniya #ANUDINI” and “shagan ki mehandi #Gaurishringar #ANUDINI @anuragkraag” as her captions.
On January 30, 2020, Anurag Sharma and Nandini Gupta exchanged the rings on their engagement ceremony and they looked like a made for each other couple. For the engagement ceremony, Anurag looked in a tuxedo, while his bride, Nandini looked like a princess straight out of a fairytale in a white gown. Before the engagement ceremony, a mehendi ceremony was hosted for the bride-to-be, Nandini Gupta and a combined haldi ceremony with her groom, Anurag Sharma. For the mehendi night, Nandini had looked gorgeous in a pink gota patti lehenga with a green halter-neck choli. And for the haldi ritual, Anurag and Nandini twinned in yellow. Announcing their wedding date and revealing the details of their ‘Kismat Connection’ love story with a video on Instagram, Anurag Sharma had written, “KISMAT CONNECTION I loved her @starnandini since the first time I saw her. Me and Nandini #ANUDINI are ready to take up the big leap and start the adventure called "marriage". We are truly blessed with such amazing family, friends and fans please continue to pour your love and blessings as we begin this journey #newbeginnings @7thskyproduction.” And Nandini Gupta too, had shared the same video and had captioned her post as “KISMAT CONNECTION Story. I fOUND THE ONE WHOM MY SOUL LOVES. ME and ANURAG #ANUDINI are ready to take up the big leap and start the adventure called "marriage". Anurag Sharma and Nandini Gupta had treated their fans with the pre-wedding video and it was nothing less than a Bollywood movie. Sharing a video with Gerua in the background, Nandini had written, “Lovers don't finally meet somewhere, They're in each other all along...” Posting another video, Nandini captioned it, “Truly Madly CRAZY DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH YOU @anuragkraag I promise no matter how hard it gets, no matter how much we argue, I will never leave you. I will risk everything for you. No One compares to you. I LOVE YOU.” And the last video that she shared, “I Can't Wait To Marry You....@anuragkraag.”
While Anurag Sharma has worked on popular TV shows like Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kumkum Bhagya, Jodha Akbar, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, Kavach, and Udaan among others, Nandini was last seen in the show Dhhai Kilo Prem.
