Anushka in an interview with Elle India shared how life has changed after the wedding. She had said, “Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives.” She further added, “So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! It’s a vacation.” (Also Read: Sania Mirza Shares Picture With Her Valentine Forever Izhaan, His Expressions Are Not To Be Missed)
Recently, Virat and Anushka completed a year of marital bliss on December 11, 2018, and she shared a beautiful video from the wedding and captioned it as, “It's heaven when you don't sense time passing by ... It's heaven when you marry a good 'man' ...” And Virat being a doting husband shared a few unseen pictures on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Can't believe it's been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever @anushkasharma."
Anushka, in an interview, had earlier talked about how busy her work life has become and had stated, “I have zero time to do anything other than working. The past three years, I’ve been shooting back-to-back and releasing movies. In the past couple of years, whatever work you’ve seen of mine, you can tell that there has been a range that I’ve tried to achieve. And it has been so consuming that I’ve not had time for anything else. So whatever time I get to unwind, I like to spend it with my family."
In an earlier interview, Virat had revealed that it's Anushka who keeps him motivated. He had said, “My wife has been keeping me motivated throughout, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going throughout this tour and when times have been tough, and I am really grateful for that”.
He had further added, “When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different. It came with her own challenges & perspective on things.”
The Sui Dhaaga actress once shared during a media interaction about how they manage their personal and professional lives. Anushka was quoted as saying, "We try to create a proper work-life balance. Both of us really love doing what we do professionally. Our priorities are very clear in life. But at the same time, we try and find time to do something together. We don't take our professions or our career too seriously. We don't draw our identity only from that. We are very simple and like doing normal things. For the world it is about our professions. But in reality, it is just normal. It is as normal as anyone would be in a relationship. We don't see each other in terms of our profession."
