When a couple gets to know about their pregnancy, they are loaded not only with mixed emotions but also with responsibilities. Taking care of the mommy-to-be, taking extra precautions for the soon-to-be-born baby, arranging things for the angel-to-be born and other duties start to make the parents-to-be worry! However, the actual responsibility begins when the child is born and you have to impart the values on to him or her. In this technically advanced era, bringing up a child has become a task for the parents, and parents-to-be, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are all prepared for this. It’s been three years to Anushka and Virat’s together forever, and while the couple is celebrating their third anniversary, we are waiting for their baby to arrive soon. The two had ‘promised each other to be bound in love forever’ on December 11, 2017, after all the speculations. The couple is now all set to take their relationship to the next level and step into the best phase of marriage, i.e., parenthood. Announcing the news of Anushka’s pregnancy, the couple had shared the first picture of parents-to-be where the actress had flaunted her cute baby bump. Revealing that junior Sharma-Kohli will arrive in 2021, Anushka and Virat had captioned it as “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have planned to strike a balance between parenting and their careers. Recently, in a Puma Instagram live chat with world boxing champion, Mc Mary Kom, Virat shared how he would take inspiration from her to strike a balance between his career and parenting. We have heard Anushka talk about the same and now, Virat has also opened up on the same and has said, “We are in the journey to become parents ourselves, we take a lot of inspiration from what you have done, we are going to follow the same path.”
From carrying herself in the most stylish manner to flaunting her baby bump, Anushka has never skipped a chance to surprise us. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the PK actress had also presented her thoughts about striking a balance between her child and her career. She had opened up about her plans to resume work after her delivery in January 2021. In her words, Anushka had shared, “I will be back to my shoots after I deliver my child, and will establish a system at home that ensures I can balance time between my child, home and professional life. Virat Kohli has taken paternity leave from BCCI and will only play the first Test match of their Australia tour. The captain will fly back to his home to be with his pregnant wife and actress, Anushka Sharma. In a press conference, Virat Kohli had talked about the same and had said, "The decision was made before the selection meeting that I will be flying back before the first Test. It was purely based on the fact that there was a quarantine period in both ways. I wanted to be back in time to be with my wife for the birth of our first child." Virat Kohli had also described the emotions he and his wife, Anushka Sharma are feeling at the moment and had added, "It is very, very special and a beautiful moment in our lives and that was the reason for my decision that was communicated to the selectors."
