Anushka Sharma is one of the most prominent faces in Bollywood. She is married to Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli, and the couple is currently living in London. The actress once shared an interesting story about her first meeting with the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. You would be surprised to know that the Band Baaja Baaraat actress first met the Pathaan actor at a fashion show and not on the sets of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
During the promotional events of Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan starrer film, Zero, the actress shared an interesting story of the time when she first saw Shah Rukh Khan in real life. To everyone’s surprise, it was not on the sets of the former’s debut movie, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, but at a fashion show, where SRK graced the event with Deepika Padukone.

The Sui Dhaaga actress confirmed that she indeed interacted with SRK for the first time on the sets of her debut movie, but she saw him a year before its filming commenced when she was a model for a fashion show. Recalling the same, Anushka said:
“Ek fashion show hum kar rahe the aur aap log Om Shanti Om ke liye walk kar rahe the. Main waha pe khadi thi, I was one of the models, to main line me lagi thi Kyunki ek ke baad ek ladkiyaan aati hai naa....Suddenly peeche se na ek bahut achhi khushboo aayi. So, I turn to see kaun hai? then I saw Shah Rukh walking...and I was just like staring.”
Apart from sharing an adorable chemistry with Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan also has a loveable bond with her husband, Virat Kohli. During an interview with a sports channel, SRK called Virat "Bollywood's son-in-law", showcasing the love and affection the duo shares. SRK further spoke highly of the cricketer and revealed that he knew him since he was dating Anushka. While he said that Virat is Bollywood's damaad, he also said:
"I have known him the most compared to other players. I have known Virat and Anushka for a long time, spent a lot of time with them."
Born in 1988 in Ayodhya to a colonel father and a housewife mother, Anushka Sharma worked as a model for many years before becoming an actress. She got a breakthrough into acting with her debut film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, in which she was paired alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Since then, she has appeared in several hit films such as Band Baaja Baaraat, NH10, Dil Dhadakne Do, and PK.
