Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli resigned as the T20 Captain, and it sent shockwaves around the Indian Cricket fraternity. While some senior cricketers called it a wise decision, some are extremely angry by his decision to announce his resignation right after the T20 World Cup in Dubai next month. According to reports, BCCI (Board Of Control For Cricket In India) is considering removing Kohli from Team India's ODI captain.
Virat Kohli's actress-wife, Anushka Sharma, also reacted to her hubby's sudden decision that has already created a huge controversy on the internet amongst his fans, selectors of the Indian Team, and former cricketers and pundits.

On September 16, 2021, Virat Kohli took to his Instagram handle and dropped the picture of a note in which he announced his decision to step down as the captain of Team India in the T20 format after leading the team one last time in the upcoming T20 World Cup in Dubai. The big call from Virat received mixed reactions. While some praised the cricketer for not being greedy about the captainship, some got irked with his decision. Virat's wife, Anushka Sharma, also reacted to her husband's massive decision. The actress shared her husband's long note in which he revealed that he is stepping down as Team India's T20 captain on her IG stories and put a red heart emoticon at the top of it.

On the personal front, after more than three years of married life, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had stepped into the next phase of their 'happily ever after' and became proud parents to a beautiful angel, Vamika. Making 2021 a 'Happy' New Year for Virat and Anushka, the stork had visited the couple with their first child on January 11, and in the blink of an eye, Virushka became 'three'. With Virat's 'V' and Anushka's 'Ka' combined with 'Ami', 'Vamika' is special in her own way!
To mark International Women's Day 2021, Virat Kohli had posted an adorable picture of Anushka Sharma and Vamika. Expressing his feelings on witnessing the birth of his child, Virat had captioned the mother-daughter picture as "Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have."
Going further in his note, Virat Kohli had also showered immense praises on all the fierce women, who are tackling everything in their lives like a queen. He had added, "After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also, a Happy Women's Day to all the amazing women of the world."
