Power couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are each other's biggest cheerleader and the most brutal critics. The two always motivate one another to become the best version of themselves. Time and again, we have seen this adorable couple cheering for each other and showering heaps of praises on one another. From Anushka accompanying Virat on his cricket tours to Virat crediting his success to his wife, the two never fail to send their fans in a meltdown.
For the unversed, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed with a daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli in January 2021. The doting mommy had taken a sabbatical to spend more time with her little munchkin and enjoy her motherhood phase. Now, Anushka is making her comeback with the film, Chakda Xpress, which is based on the life of Indian cricketer, Jhulan Goswami, and her fans are super-excited for the same.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Anushka Sharma opened up about preparing for her upcoming movie, Chakda Xpress and revealed that she has been taking batting tips from her husband, Virat Kohli. Adding that they both discuss about her progress after a good learning day, Anushka said:
“We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I’ve had a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I listen to my coach more. But I do turn to Virat for batting tips.”
Further in the interview, Anushka revealed that she has always appreciated how mentally exhausting playing cricket is, but now that she has been preparing for her film, she knows how physically draining it is. Recalling how Virat would see her doing late night shoots and would wonder how she was able to do it, Anushka shared that now she is left in bewilderment how Virat has been playing cricket for so many years. In her words:
“I always appreciated how mentally pressurising it can be to play cricket, but now, I also understand how physically draining it is. I remember when Virat would sometimes come to see me on a film set, and he would watch us on late-night shoots or in very cold places, he would be bewildered and wonder how we were able to do it. Now, I talk to him about the things that he’s been doing for so many years.”
